Wondering how to share a link for people to review your business on Google?
Using a short URL provided in your Google My Business dashboard will send your customers directly to the review field of your business listing. Follow the quick steps below to access your short URL on your computer!
Login to your Google My Business account. In the upper left menu, select Home.
Within the dashboard, you’ll see a card that says “Get more reviews.” Select this card and a short URL will appear on the screen, ready for you to share!
What the benefits are of Google reviews?
Not only do Google reviews build brand trust among potential new customers, they also help bolster your local SEO. One or two reviews won’t make a big difference, but Google loves diversity in reviews (keywords!), quantity, and frequency. Getting a ton of reviews via an email blast to your existing customers will certainly help build brand credibility, but won’t make a huge difference in your local SEO rankings. This is where a more long term approach works best.
